RaSter Images is the Software Division of SKS Hospital. RaSter Images is responsible for the development of all custom software used at SKS Hospital. The software developed is also commercially available for other customers. Custom development can also be undertaken.

Integrated Hospital Management System (IHMS) V3.0

The IHMS software has been under development since 1989. It is now into the third generation and is one of the most mature Hospital Management Packages available. The various modules inlude:

All modules are tightly integrated to share information and billing details. Because the software has been developed on FoxPro for DOS, the hardware requirements are minimal and provides a cost effective solution to Hospital Computerisation. A new version based on Java and RDBMS is right now in the design stages.

Image Archival System (IAS) V2.0

IAS is your solution for Medical Image Archival and reporting. It interfaces with any Medical Image generating equipment and can generate reports in a desired manner. A unique feature is the masking technology, which can cut of unwanted black background (uesful in Video Endoscope Images) saving costly ink when printed out. Old Records can be quickly retrieved for comparison. IAS also integrates with IHMS for patient management and billing functions.

The whole system is self contained in a custom designed trolley which allows it be moved easily and can also be shared with more than one device.
